Last updated: 23 October 2026

Chalk & Sum is a number puzzle game made by Kartik Kaushik. This policy explains what data the game uses and why. The short version: the game has no accounts and never asks for your name or email. The only third party that receives data is Google, to show ads.

What the game stores

None of this is sent to us. We don't run any servers.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google's SDK may collect:

The game does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency), so Apple's advertising identifier is not shared. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choices before any ads are requested, and you can change them later.

This website

This website counts visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites. It records the page you visited, the site that linked you here, your browser, screen size and country, but not your IP address or any personal identifier.

Purchases

"Remove Ads" is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
